good evening kings let’s restart this 🅱️read

i don’t have a posting schedule and i don’t know if i’ll ever be able to update regularly but i’ve been wanting to overhaul spk for years now. my grasp of art has strengthened phenomenally over the last two years; in style, in skill, in story — and i KNOW i can do better than the stuff i was putting out in 2018. talking with a beloved friend over the summer helped me realize that i was not writing for myself, i was too focused on audience and palatability and literal storytelling and keeping some kind of mpaa pg-13 standard that i wasn’t letting myself tell the story i want to tell. i’m doing this for me now, and that means things are going to get weird. the characters and the main story threads will all stay the same, but the execution will ramp up several notches. welcome to my edgy reboot >:)
